This is in reference to the "Lighthouse" thread from the old forum. On February 21, a male juvenile was observed running with a statue and deposited it on another residence's property. This is no prankster - he has been kicked out of Landstown High School and was documented as a run-a-way. Years prior, the school bus stop had to be moved because of this individual. He is also a suspect in some more serious vandalism and also throwing eggs at a vehicle. His father is in the Navy and that child (the juvenile) has been an unattended nuisance for years now.

One reason I am posting is to let everyone know that they should contact the police about these "pranks" or any suspicious activity. That individual, has some friends he hangs out with who have even less supervision and worse, a parent who served time in jail and who continues to break the law. The other reason I am posting is to communicate that if you have teenagers, please find out who your children are associating with. The majority of the kids here are good but there are a few that have been brought with no respect for the law.

Three of these juveniles live in the 3000 and 3100 block of Monet Dr. and can be seen at times on Bloomfield. The police are aware including the First Precinct Captain.

Anyone missing a religious statue may contact the police to recover that stolen item. Follow link for picture. (http://wanted.hamptonroadscrime.com/2010/03/trespassing-3100-block-monet-dr-23453/)

I agree with the comments in the old forum that someone should be held accountable and we should not let these juveniles or their parents dictate how much they can impact our quality of life.

Bottom line is a run-a-way kid who got kicked out of high school stole a statue from someone's property and put it in someone else's property, in the process trespassing twice.
